Lake and stream fishing for native rainbow trout
Fly Fishing
The trout in the streams will take large dry flies in every month of our
season making this area unique, #8 and #10 being the most commonly used sizes.
Fly rods in the #4, #5, #6 sizes are used and 3x and 4x tippets on Nine foot
leaders as the fish are not leader shy and these tippets will help turn over
the larger flies. Lake fishing is done with large Caddis Patterns, Mayflies,
Wooly buggers etc. Fifty fish days are not uncommon in many of the streams
in the area.
